by Commissioner Ann Ivey and is two-fold:
It recognizes individuals/groups in the city that have promoted and improved the landscape in the City It recognizes beautiful residential yards and resident's dedication and hard work to improve the landscape of our City

efforts have made a positive impact in the city’s landscape.

awardee is recognized in front of the Little Rock Board of Director's
meeting with an inscribed gold acrylic star-shaped Award and a long-stemmed red rose.
Description This award acknowledges an outstanding development in Little Rock that provides a landmark in the city’s landscape. The City’s namesake rock formation on the banks of the Arkansas River, referred to as “La Petite Roche” by French explorer Bernard de la Harpe in 1722, became a landmark for the most convenient river crossing and the site of La Harpe’s Trading Post. As the “La Petite Roche” landmark directed travelers to the settlement later known as Little Rock, this new landmark is also an attraction and will be a significant presence in the city’s landscape.

Award The
awardee is recognized in front of the Little Rock Board of Director's
meeting with an inscribed clear acrylic boulder-shaped award (reminiscent of the rock landmark) and a long-stemmed red rose. Certificates of appreciation are given to all the members of the project team (owner/developer, design constultants, contractors).
Description This award will acknowledge an outstanding sustainable development project in Little Rock that shows significant and excellent sensitivity to the environment. This green building project is environmentally responsible, promotes high performance as a cost effective design and construction project and supports a healthier place to live and work. CBC would applaud a green development project that enhances the environment of the City of Little Rock and improves the health of its citizens for future generations.
