Saturday 2013 garden lecture series in the historic Mt. Holly Cemetery starts in April and continues until October. It is always the third Saturday of the month and starts at 9am. A donation of $5 is recommended. The May 18th lecture is on "Landscaping and decorative gardening" with Scott Lyon. The June 15th lecture will be "Shade plants for your garden" with Susan Rose.

The 13th Annual Spring Garden Tour of private gardens sponsored by the Greater Little Rock Council of Garden Clubs is planned for Saturday, June 1st, 9am - 5pm and Sunday, June 2nd, 1-5pm. The theme this year is "Urban Delight - Practical Gardening in the City"
